Weekly appointments have started.

I had the first of my weekly doctor appointments today. I will continue to go every week until Lauren comes. Everything is going along as planned. Today's appointment was slightly stressful because I had to have some tests done. But nothing out of the ordinary - they tested my iron level and they did another test for something they call "Strep B". I am not sure what it is but I find out the results next Friday when I go back to the doctor's office. Today I am officially 36 weeks (and 1 day). My blood pressure was normal, like it has been every week, and Lauren's heartbeat was strong. The nurse was concerned at first that Lauren may have been in the breech position, so I ended up having another ultrasound done. The ultrasound showed that Lauren was in a great position to be delivered, which was a relief. I did ask the nurse what she thought Lauren's weight would be and she estimated that right now Lauren is around 5 lbs, and maybe born around 6.5 lbs. I also asked how long they would let me go if Lauren decided not to come on April 30th, and this practice will let me go up to 10 days before they enduce labor. They really want labor to come on its own time. Hopefully, it will only be a few more weeks until she gets here.
