Ryan and I visited the Gwinnett Medical Women's Pavilion last night to see where we need to go and what we need to do once Lauren decides it is her birthday. It was very interesting and exciting to see the different parts of the hospital associated with labor, delivery, and recovery. The visit did bring some anxiety, but the nervousness hasn't set in yet. I think that will come in the weeks to follow. We do have confidence that we will be satisfied with the service at Gwinnett Medical because we know friends and family who have delivered their babies there. We celebrated the evening with a dinner to Macaroni Grill.
The pack-n-play finally arrived yesterday and I couldn't wait to have it put together. So Ryan and I (mainly Ryan) put it together when we got home around 10:30pm. ( I try to help put it together by reading the instructions to him, but I think I slow the process up just a little. Of course, that doesn't keep me from still trying to help). The reason I picked that pack-n-play was that it would most closely match the furniture in the living room, which it matched perfectly. But we soon discovered another problem - I'm not sure if it is going to fit. I could only sweet talk Ryan into moving the furniture around once that evening, and with it being so late in the evening and we still had not watched American Idol yet, I decided not to push my luck with trying to get him to move it around again. Hopefully we will find the perfect spot in the living room for the pack-n-play by the end of the week.
