Today was Lauren's first day at Discovery Point. Ryan and I dropped her off this morning. I went to check on her at noon and she was laying down for naptime with the teacher rubbing her back. The rest of the day was very long for me. I was counting down the last hour in anticipation of 5:00 when I could go get her from school. I arrived at the school at 4:55pm and met the owner of the daycare when I walked in. She said that Lauren had a great day. I found out from the afternoon teacher that Lauren didn't sleep at naptime, was somewhat clingy always wanting to be near the teachers, played ball with another child, and participated in watercolor painting. The teacher said that Lauren had a good day. The daycare is excited that she is going to come back next week. Of course, I forgot to take the camera with me when we dropped her off, so here are the few pictures I got when I took her to Runners Fit after I picked her up from daycare....
