Our normal routine in the evenings is that when I get off work, I drive to Aunt Jenny's and pick up Lauren. We make it home and it is pushing 7:00pm by the time we get in the door (thanks to tax season). So I have to immediately start dinner if we want to eat by a decent hour. Lauren is at the age where she doesn't like to be in the room by herself and it has become a little difficult to get things done around the house. Now, she can sit up without any assistance and I have discovered if I set her down on the rug in the kitchen, she will play for about 15-20 minutes - just enough time to get dinner started on the stove. Here is Lauren helping me cook.
