Today, we decided to start decorating for Christmas. After lunch at Bobby Cheeseburger, we drove over to Home Depot to pick out our Christmas Tree. We decided not to break with tradition and went on what seemed like one of the coldest days, thus far, and picked out the exact same tree as last year. With the weather being cold, it made us pick our tree a lot quicker than years in the past. For such a fast decision, the tree is a good fat tree with not too many holes between the branches. When we got home, I put in the movie, Frosty the Snowman, for Lauren to watch while Ryan got the decorations and ornaments down from the attic and I started dinner. Once Ryan got everything out of the attic, Lauren decided she wanted to help. She helped vacuum the needles off of the carpet and helped Ryan find the plant trays to go beneath the poinsettias. While she was going in and out of the house following her dad around, she spotted the three wise men and stopped to look at them. Ryan asked, "What are you doing, Lauren?". She said, "I'm just looking at these 2 boys and 1 girl".

Well... I guess we need to read her the story of the nativity.....
