Lauren is just like every other child her age who repeats everything they hear. She also has entered the famous stage of asking why - it hasn't been too frequent only every so often.
Recently, when I tell Lauren something or asking her something, she has responded with "What?" and "Why?". Once, she even told me "whatever". It wasn't a sarcastic "whatever", just a casual response. But it does take me by surprise when she responds like that because I think I am listening to myself answer myself.
Ryan likes to say "settle down Beevis" and Lauren has picked up the saying as well. It is very humorous for her angelic face to look at you and say "settle down beevis". (For those of you who are not familiar with the saying, it comes from the old MTV cartoon, "Beevis and Butthead".)
