Our Christmas Day Continues

Our Christmas was the usual Christmas routine for my family. We went to Christmas Eve service at Cottage Hill Presbyterian Church and then went to the Kyranakis's Christmas Eve Party. Mrs. Kyranakis always has ziti, gumbo, fried oysters, and crab omelets. We spent Christmas Eve night at my parent's (the Damp's) house and woke up to a living room full of gifts from Santa Claus. After we opened gifts in our pjs with Grandpa, Mimi, and Aunt Carlie, we got dressed for the day and headed off to the Kyranakis's to say Merry Christmas and Good Morning. We came in through the front door so we were able to see what Santa Claus had left us there. We didn't have long to enjoy our gifts before we headed to my grandparents house for Christmas brunch (Papaw and Grandma Damp's house). We ate brunch and exchanged gifts with Papaw and Grandma Damp, Grandpa and Mimi, Aunt Carlie, Aunt KK, Uncle Robert, Justin, Joshua, Aunt Christine, Uncle Ron, Taylor, and Jeremy. After that we headed to Granny Howell's house. Papa Howell is in the hospital for rehabilitation after heart valve replacement surgery. Everyone brought lunch to Granny's to share and we opened gifts with Granny, Grandpa and Mimi, Aunt Carlie, Uncle Harvey, Aunt Donna, Beau, Nicole, Aaron, Uncle Ron, Aunt Ann, Linday, Paul, Trent, Erin, Jeremy, and Uncle Robbie. After a stop at the hospital to visit with Papa Howell, we went to the Kyranakis's house to finish opening gifts and spending time with them on Christmas day. With all of the stops we made on Christmas, Lauren received a lot of toys, clothes, hugs, and kisses, and she enjoyed them all. We are so blessed to spend the holidays with our families.
