2 Months

Today, Lauren has been with us for 2 months. We have learned so much about her and ourselves. It is amazing how much patience we have been granted with. Even Lauren too - she has so much patience with Ryan and I as we learn the code to having a happy baby. She has grown so much in the past month - developing her own personality and discovering new things each day. The other day when I picked her up from Aunt Jenny's house, it looked like she had grown up so much, that I wondered where my little newborn went to. Don't get me wrong, she is still very little, but it just isn't the same. I blinked and there went the first 2 months. Though I am a little sad that she is no longer the very tiny baby I brought home from the hospital, Ryan and I are very excited to watch her grow and develop.

Here are the top 5 things we experienced with Lauren this month:

#5 - If we time the late night feeding just right, we all can get a full night's sleep.
#4 - If something works, don't change it.
#3 - No more gas smiles, now they are the real deal.
#2 - Stick to the schedule.
#1 - We've discovered our hands.
