Lauren Elise Kyranakis was born at 12:22 p.m. on May 7, 2008. She weighed 7lbs 3 ozs and is 20 and 1/4 inches long.
We arrived at the hospital at 6 a.m. on Tuesday for Sarah's scheduled inducement. We were admitted right away and began the long process. To make a long story short, just over 30 hours later (no that is not a typo) we had our little princess. Sarah is doing great and feeling better every hour. Lauren has all 10 fingers and toes, and is heathly and doing well. We will check out of the hospital tomorrow around noon and begin life in the real world as parents. Luckily Sarah's mom will be with us for a couple of weeks and then my mom is coming for another week to help us adjust to our new roles. Thanks so much for all the prayers, thoughts, and phone calls. I will be putting up more pictures and video (yes, I have thousands of pictures) in the next couple of days. I guess I am "that dad" already.
